Meet Our Leaders

Ron Curry, Lead Pastor

Lead Pastor, Ron Curry and his wife Dollie have been members of Kendall Baptist Church since 1980. Pastor and Mrs. Curry accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior, November 1980 at Kendall Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor William Bort.

Pastor Curry was ordained as a deacon on September 26, 2004 by Pastor Jones. He was licensed to preach the Word by Pastor Jones and the Kendall Baptist Church family on August 17, 2006. On June 27, 2009, Pastor Curry was ordained by Pastor Ronnie Stanley of First Baptist Church of Suitland, MD. He became the Associate Pastor of Kendall Baptist Church in November 2009.

The Lord led him, Dollie, Minister Maurice and Sharron Mason to begin a Friday night bible study in the Prince Frederick area on April 11, 2014. From that Bible Study, the Lord lead them to plant New Creation Bible Church in that same area which launched June 7, 2015. By the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Curry and Dollie relocated to Prince Frederick, Maryland shortly after the launch. They are now proud Calvert County residents.

Pastor Curry studied Biblical Theology through the EQUIP Program at Washington Bible College in Greenbelt, MD, CEMI School of Theology, Theology through Liberty University online program, Biblical Studies at Washington Bible College. He completed his AA Degree in Theology at Lancaster Bible College, Greenbelt Campus in 2016. Pastor Curry is currently pursuing his BA Degree in Theology.

Pastor Curry and Dollie were married on August 23, 1980. Pastor Curry is a native Washingtonian, while Dollie is from the wild and wonderful state of West Virginia. They have four children and four grandchildren.

Maurice Mason, Associate Pastor

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”.

Born to the late William Henry and Mary Rebecca Mason, raises and educated in the Calvert County school system, I can truly say as did my dear grandmother Mary Frances Mason “Thank God for Jesus”.

After years of encounters with dangers seen and unseen, and a life full sin, in October of 1994 I had a personal encounter with The Lord Jesus and surrendered all of me to His Lordship. In November of that same year, I was baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at Walker Memorial Baptist Church in North West, Washington DC.

On September 14th of 1995, I married my wife of now 24 years, Mrs. Sharron D. Mason.

The following year we were blessed with the birth of our daughter Briana. In October 2006 I was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ by Pastor Lamont Jones of Kendall Baptist Church, Temple Hills Md. June of 2009 I was ordained by Pastor Ronnie Stanley of Suitland Baptist Church and on June 7th of 2015, I was confirmed as the Associate Pastor of New Creation Bible Church in Prince Frederick Md.
