Who We Are

A New Church

New Creation Bible Church is a new church that is relevant in your life today. A church that strengthens families and seeks to discover God’s potential within you. We clearly present the message of Jesus Christ, and we believe in the power of prayer.

Our Story

New Creation Bible Church began from one man traveling 86 miles round trip, 3 - 4 times per week for 15 years to attend Kendall Baptist Church. He was in constant prayer and asked the church if there was any way they could start a Bible Study closer to his home in Calvert County. His prayers were answered in June of 2013. This Bible Study began with 6 people gathering at the Holiday Inn Express in Prince Frederick, Maryland and quickly grew to 18 regular attendees.

In 2015, the Lord led the leadership of Kendall Baptist Church to start a church in Calvert County. The church held its first worship service on June 7, 2015, at the Holiday Inn Express. We are very grateful for the Lord opening the door for us at the Holiday Inn.

Starting a new church like anything else has its pro’s and con’s. We had to set-up and break down our sound system each week and some mornings when we arrived we also had to put out the chairs and tables. We had the opportunity to minister to the hotel staff and guests with many of them attending our Bible Study and Worship Services. We had a good working relationship with the hotel until a change of management took place. The new management decided they no longer wanted to have long-term leases.

God closed the door at the Holiday Inn in December 2018 and opened a door for us that same month.

We had 6 people from Saint Leonard Baptist Church who did not have a pastor at the time but they had a building. They offered their building to us for our church service, which is the building we currently occupy.

New Creation Bible Church is a loving community of believers that are committed to making disciples, baptizing and teaching others, and to go and serve wherever God sends

“For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations.”

Isaiah 56:7

Our Mission

We believe a commitment to the great commandment and great commission will grow a great church making disciples who make disciples.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

- Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)
